Bob Breheny, one of the founding members of the Celtic Society, passed away in August 2026. In recognition of his huge contribution to Celtic music in the Monterey Bay area and his support of local performers as well as world famous musicians, the Society has set up a scholarship fund in his name whose purpose is to provide financial support for students attending the Community Music School Of Santa Cruz annual Teen Music Camp.

The Celtic Society has seeded the scholarship fund with an initial donation of $2000. By contributing whatever you can afford, you will be helping to ensure that the fund can continue for as long as possible.
